Some of us are blessed with good looks, a skinny waist, and big muscles; however, the majority of us have to put daily work into this. We need to take care of ourselves so that we can be good parents to our kids, good kids to our parents, good spouses, and good friends. We strive to achieve mental clarity, which allows us to maximize our potential at work and reduce stress and anxiety. The body is integrative in ways we cannot even imagine, and understanding how these connections are made one-by-one is vital in understanding how to maintain and upkeep the body’s ability to heal itself.
We need to focus less on shame and guilt and instead turn the focus completely on us, and factors that we can control. In other words, we need to focus on focusing. Now that COVID is approaching what we hope to be the end, we need to start thinking about how we can maximize our health.
